1405.00 / 1405.01

Once again next is moved to master, and 1405.00 is released!

Changes include:
New thatch, glass, and coloured glass rooftiles. Plus you can now walk up a roof slope without jumping, and the textures finally face the right way.
New flint tools were added.
Selection boxes now fit nodeboxes better, and signs are now entirely nodebox based.
Where an item has multiple recipes, you can now view all of them in the craft guide.
Menche did some cleaning up, so that a number of similar craft items have been merged together.
Hay is now less expensive (4 dead grass, instead of 9), and wood blocks can be made from planks.
Buckets should now working in creative mode, and a bug fixed where slabs were turning fences into wood.

Or check out JMiahMan's post below for updated Fedora RPM's.

A couple of bugs were found that were inhibiting gameplay, so they've been fixed and 1405.01 released.

No tongue

An idea from (or inspired by a comment from) Honeypaw though, was to make them dig faster than steel tools, but wear faster than steel too... which I might look at for the next release. At present their digging speed and wear is between wood and steel.

Sounds good. And what about stone tools? (I haven't actually had time to compile this new release yet)

Oh right, I meant they're between stone and steel.

I'll give the packager a poke, see about getting them updated.

Re: 1405.00 / 1405.01

Thanks let me know if you run into any issues with packaging, I have packaged quite a few rpms for Mandriva, Fedora etc.. I don't have my build machine up anymore, but I could work something out if need be.

EDIT:
I have a 1405.01 i386 RPM and a x86_64 RPM for people who might still be waiting for the rpms to be updated.

Re: 1405.00 / 1405.01

Thanks! That's awesome. smile

Seems our regular packager has been rebuilding his system and fell behind in making packages.
But we'll be skipping the 1406.00 release and going straight 1407.00, which should give me time to fix the bug in the dev version of the server, and hopefully get others caught up too.
