Direct3D

I know it's evil and old, but can you please have the next Windows build support Direct3D, Menche? Old PCs need it.

Re: Direct3D

Well, if someone with windows wants to do the official builds, then we can add d3d, but while I'm cross compiling on gnu/linux it'll stay opengl only.

Re: Direct3D

Ah, I see. Guess I'll compile my own build when I've got time.

Re: Direct3D

Hi nadnadnad. I've put together a native build for Windows, which is available here. If you could test this and let me know how it goes for you, it would be appreciated. You will need to add video_driver = direct3d8 (or direct3d9 if supported) to voxelands.conf.

Re: Direct3D

JJH, if you do a new build, version 1503.01 now, I think interesting to add the bin folder, the OpenAL32.dll. Only precaution, because the staff here (Brazil) is accustomed to only install a library when you need... >.>

I no longer feel torn between two worlds
I already have my own world
It is one that I expand and where there are no limits
From what I can do, what I can try. (Sem Limites - O anoitecer das estações)

Re: Direct3D

Ah, thanks for pointing that out. I forgot to include it because OpenAL32.dll is in my System32 folder already. I'll add it in when I do the builds this evening.

Although I won't be using it much, I appreciate the build. Thanks JJH big_smile big_smile
